1941 | The founder Yasaburo Iwama established a company in Nagoya and began dealing ceramic materials. |

1951 | Nitto Sangyo began to import Zircon opacifier and ceramic colors such as Zr-V Blue/Yellow produced in USA, which greatly contributed to quality improvement of ceramic wares. |

1956 | Succeeded in producing Zircon Opacifier, which was named ‘ZIRCONIT’ |

1958 | Stated to import Petalite ore from Zimbabwe, which contributed to remarkable growth of Heat Resistance ware market. |
